来自拉丁语的credere 意为to believe,to trust,它的变形为creed和cre。同义词根有来自拉丁语的
unbelievable和incredible 都指“难以置信的”，区别是believe 来源于德语glauben （相信），源自对神的相信进入希腊语演变为gelefan,又变形为belefan,后进入西班牙语最后又演变成了believe,所以，believe是指心理上没有
